Charles and Dave are pleased to have taken over Franklin country meats from Dave and Trina Crosbie. Charles has worked for Dave having completed his apprenticeship with franklin country meats knowing the customers and products. We look forward to continuing to supply a high standard of product with friendly service. If there are any cuts not alreadyavailable you may require please ask anything possible.
Our sausage selection would probably be the largest in New Zealand with over 30 different varieties. We pride ourselves on producing New Zealand award winning delicious sausages using the freshest, excellent quality New Zealand ingredients. Our sausages are made the traditional way, by our expert butchers who hand link each one, using natural casings (ie not synthetic!!).
Our sausage medal winning streak began in 2009 with our Lamb Merguez sausage, we were thrilled to receive industry recognition in thisproduct as well as our bacon and have been fortunate enough have continued success with the following:
We entered our first 100% NZ Pork competition in 2008 and won our first Gold Medal for our traditionally made Streaky Bacon. We were over the moon! Thus begun our continued success in the bacon awards. Almost every year since we have secured a Medal in the 100% NZ Pork competition with:
